I combine a full accounting background with formal software engineering training. That means I can talk to you about debits and credits, database schemas and API design in the same conversation.
Background
I completed a four-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a five-year Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. This gives me a solid foundation in both financial reporting and modern software development.
Over the years I have worked deeply in software engineering while staying close to real-world accounting work. I'm comfortable reading balance sheets and tax schedules, but also designing backend services and data models.
I hold the Canadian CPA designation as well as Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE), and focus on building systems that actually match how small and medium-sized businesses operate in practice.
